Why the change
A new home for a familiar tradition
With the Valdosta City Schools Board of Education's decision to close VECA, we at SciTrek had to look ahead and find a new opportunity to continue the impact of this tradition. SciTrek, with its rich history in science education, provides a new home for the pecan sale, one where proceeds directly fund programs and initiatives that spark curiosity, learning, and innovation for students across the Southeast.
This change allows the pecan sale to reach even more communities, creating opportunities for children and educators alike to explore the wonders of science.
